8 ounces spaghetti or fettuccine

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

1 cup frozen peas

1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 4-5 minutes until they're soft.

      Combine Ingredients: Stir in the shredded chicken and frozen peas. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, and mix well to combine. Add the dried thyme, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a simmer.

        Add Cheese: Once the mixture is simmering, add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and cohesive.

          Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to your chicken mixture and toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.

            Transfer to Baking Dish: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
