Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 slider buns

1 cup marinara sauce

Extra mozzarella cheese for topping

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the Patties: Form the chicken mixture into small patties that will fit your slider buns. You should get around 12 sliders.

Cook the Chicken Patties: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it. Cook the chicken patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and fully cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Assemble the Sliders: On the bottom half of each slider bun, spread a spoonful of marinara sauce. Place a cooked chicken patty on top of the sauce, then add a sprinkle of extra mozzarella cheese.

Bake the Sliders: Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and cover them with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven, let them cool for a minute, then place fresh basil leaves on top of the melted cheese if desired. Serve warm with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
