Ingredients

1 large cucumber

1 handful of fresh mint leaves

4 cups of filtered water

Ice cubes (optional)

Lime slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Cucumber: Wash the cucumber thoroughly. Slice it thinly into rounds. If desired, you can peel the cucumber for a lighter flavor.

Prepare the Mint: Rinse the fresh mint leaves under cold water to clean them. Gently bruise them by pressing with the back of a spoon to release their oils and aroma.

Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the sliced cucumber and bruised mint leaves.

Add Water: Pour the filtered water over the cucumber and mint mixture.

Chill and Infuse: Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld. For a stronger flavor, infuse overnight.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes if desired, and pour the cucumber mint water over the ice. Garnish with lime slices if using.

Enjoy: Refresh yourself with this hydrating beverage throughout the day!
