Ingredients

1 package (16 oz) frozen pierogies (cheese or potato-filled)

1 lb kielbasa, sliced into rounds

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 medium onion, diced

2 cups sauerkraut, drained

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Base: In the bottom of the crockpot, spread half of the frozen pierogies evenly.

Layer the Ingredients: Add half of the sliced kielbasa on top of the pierogies, then add half of the diced onion and half of the sauerkraut layer.

Mix the Sauce: In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Spread half of this mixture over the layered ingredients in the crockpot.

Repeat Layers: Layer the remaining pierogies, kielbasa, onions, and sauerkraut over the mixture. Finish by pouring the remaining sauce on top.

Cheese Time: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the pierogies are tender and the casserole is heated through.
