Ingredients

1.5 lbs flank steak, sliced into thin strips

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 large onion, sliced

2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt to taste

Cooked white rice or noodles, for serving

Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Sear the Steak: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil. Once hot, add the sliced flank steak and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Mix Sauce: In a bowl, combine beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, black pepper, paprika, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.

Combine in Crock Pot: Place the seared steak and sautéed vegetables in the crock pot. Pour the sauce mixture over the top. Stir gently to ensure all ingredients are well-coated.

Slow Cook: Cover and set the crock pot to low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours. Cooking until the steak is tender and flavors are well combined.

Serve: Once cooked, stir well before serving. Serve over hot, cooked white rice or noodles for the best experience. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired for an extra crunch and flavor.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 6-8 hours (depending on cooking setting) | Servings: 4-6
