Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

Instructions

Cook the Pasta (if using): If you're serving this dish with pasta, cook it according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant (do not let it burn).

Make it Creamy: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the garlic. Bring to a gentle simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Add Cheese & Seasoning: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. Add more salt and pepper to taste if needed.

Combine the Shrimp: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, along with the fresh lemon juice. Toss until the shrimp are well coated with the creamy sauce.

Serve: If using pasta, toss it into the skillet to combine with the shrimp and sauce. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
