Ingredients
  

8 oz fresh tortellini (cheese or spinach-filled)

1 lb chicken breast, diced

2 cups broccoli florets

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Red pepper flakes (for a little heat)

Instructions
 

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Season the diced chicken with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken for about 7-8 minutes or until fully cooked and lightly golden. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Prepare the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn it.

        Make it Creamy: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Once heated through, add the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and stir until the sauce is creamy and well blended.

          Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, then add the drained tortellini and broccoli. Gently toss everything together until well-coated in the sauce. Season with additional salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

            Serve: Remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes to thicken. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
