Ingredients

8 oz. pasta (penne or fettuccine)

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

4 oz. cream cheese, softened

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the cooked chicken. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir for about 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Add Cream Cheese and Broth: Reduce the heat to low. Add the softened cream cheese and chicken broth to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese has melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Incorporate Veggies and Bacon: Add the chopped spinach and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted. Fold in the crumbled bacon and mix well.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach your desired sauce consistency. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.

Serve: Taste the pasta and adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley.
