Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup mini chocolate chips

1/4 cup milk (adjust for desired consistency)

Optional: Sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

Heat-Treat the Flour: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the all-purpose flour on a baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for about 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool completely.

Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add Vanilla and Salt: Mix in the vanilla extract and salt until well combined.

Incorporate the Flour: Gradually add the heat-treated flour to the butter mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.

Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the mini chocolate chips using a spatula, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dip.

Adjust Consistency: Gradually add milk, one tablespoon at a time, mixing well until the dip reaches your desired consistency—smooth but thick enough to hold its shape.

Serve: Transfer the cookie dough dip to a serving bowl. If desired, top with sprinkles for extra fun! Serve with graham crackers, apple slices, pretzels, or your favorite dippers.
