Ingredients

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup vegetable oil

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon almond extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup sour cream

1 cup chopped pecans (for the filling)

1 cup brown sugar (for the filling)

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for the filling)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.

Prepare Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, chopped pecans, and ground cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.

Make Batter: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, softened butter, and vegetable oil until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with the sour cream. Start and end with the flour mixture, beating until just combined.

Layer the Cake: Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Sprinkle the filling mix evenly over the batter. Follow with the remaining cake batter, smoothing it on top.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool: Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
