Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened (optional)

1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional, for frosting)

1 teaspoon milk (optional, for frosting)

Fresh fruit or nuts for topping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them out on a large baking sheet, creating a rectangle by pinching the seams together.

In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon until well combined.

Brush the melted butter evenly over the crescent roll dough.

Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the buttered dough. Make sure to cover the entire surface.

In a small bowl, whip the softened cream cheese with vanilla extract and powdered sugar (if using), until smooth. Spread this mixture over the cinnamon-sugar layer for added richness (optional).

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the dough is cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. If desired, drizzle with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk for a sweet glaze.

Slice the pizza into squares or wedges and finally, top with fresh fruit or nuts if you like.
