1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the cinnamon swirl:

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

4 tablespoons melted butter

For the topping:

1 cup whipped cream

1/4 cup caramel sauce

Additional cinnamon rolls for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a medium bowl, combine crushed cinnamon roll dough, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until crumbly.

        - Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and let it cool.

          Make the cinnamon swirl:

            - In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter. Mix until it forms a paste. Set aside.

              Prepare the cheesecake filling:

                - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar while mixing.

                  - Add in vanilla extract, and mix well. Then, add one egg at a time, blending thoroughly after each addition.

                    - Mix in sour cream and heavy cream until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Stir in ground cinnamon.

                      Layer the cheesecake:

                        - Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust.

                          - Drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon swirl mixture on top of the cheesecake layer. Use a knife or toothpick to create a swirl effect.

                            - Pour the remaining cheesecake mixture over the swirl layer, smoothing the top.

                              Bake the cheesecake:

                                - Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center remains slightly jiggly.

                                  - Turn off the oven, crack the door slightly, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for an hour to prevent cracking.

                                    Chill and serve:

                                      - Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

                                        - Before serving, top with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce. Garnish with additional cinnamon rolls if desired.
