Chocolate Delight Dessert

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup mascarpone cheese

1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup crushed chocolate cookies (like Oreos or chocolate wafers)

Fresh berries (for garnish)

Mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Melt the Chocolate: In a double boiler or microwave, melt the dark chocolate chips until smooth. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each.

    Create the Ganache: In a medium bowl, combine the melted chocolate and heavy cream. Whisk until fully combined and glossy. Let it cool slightly.

      Make the Filling: In a separate bowl, mix together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated.

        Layer the Dessert: In a glass dish or individual serving glasses, start by layering the crushed chocolate cookies at the bottom. Follow with half of the mascarpone mixture, then pour half of the chocolate ganache over it.

          Repeat the Layers: Add another layer of crushed cookies, the remaining mascarpone mixture, and finish with the rest of the chocolate ganache.

            Chill: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld and the dessert to set.

              Serve: Once set, garnish with fresh berries and sprigs of mint before serving.
