2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

1 cup marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 large flour tortillas

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Mix the Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then mix until well combined.

    Heat the Pan: Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil to the pan, allowing it to heat up.

      Assemble the Quesadilla: Place one tortilla in the hot skillet. Spread a generous portion of the chicken mixture on one half of the tortilla, then fold the other half over to create a half-moon shape. Press down gently.

        Cook the Quesadilla: Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, or until golden and crispy, then carefully flip it over. Cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes, ensuring the cheese has melted and the tortilla is crispy.

          Repeat: Remove the cooked quesadilla from the skillet and repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and filling.

            Serve: Cut each quesadilla into wedges and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
