Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Ingredients
  

2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

4 tablespoons garlic butter (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

1 medium tomato, diced

1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

Optional: hot sauce for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and half of the Italian herbs. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of the garlic butter. Once melted, add the chicken breasts. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.

    Melt the Cheese: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low. Add the sliced chicken back into the skillet, sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the chicken, and allow it to melt. Stir gently until cheese is gooey and well combined with the chicken.

      Prepare the Tortillas: While the cheese is melting, warm the flour tortillas in a separate dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable.

        Assemble the Wraps: Lay a warm tortilla on a clean surface. On one side of the tortilla, place a handful of fresh spinach, a few spoonfuls of the cheesy garlic chicken, diced tomatoes, and sliced red onions.

          Wrap It Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla in over the filling, then roll from the bottom upwards tightly to create a wrap. Repeat for the remaining ingredients.

            Toast the Wraps (Optional): For an extra crispy finish, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly butter the outside of each wrap. Place each wrap in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crisp.

              Serve: Cut the wraps in half and serve warm, optionally drizzling with hot sauce for an added kick.
