Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking up with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Remove excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Garlic: Once the beef is browned, push it to one side of the skillet. Add butter to the empty side and let it melt. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Make the Sauce: Next, combine the cooked beef and garlic. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Allow to reduce slightly for about 2-3 minutes, then stir in the heavy cream and bring back to a simmer.

Add Cheeses: Lower the heat to medium-low. Gradually add the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheeses are melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly. If the mixture seems dry, add a bit more beef broth to reach your desired consistency. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Serve and Garnish: Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley for freshness. Serve hot, and enjoy your cheesy, creamy beef and pasta creation!
