Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini

1 lb beef steak, thinly sliced (ribeye or sirloin recommended)

1 medium onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened, then add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Cook the Steak: Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the thinly sliced steak. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until the beef is browned, about 5-6 minutes. Mix everything together once the beef is cooked.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, allowing it to thicken slightly for about 3-4 minutes.

Add the Cheese: Gradually add the shredded provolone cheese into the sauce, stirring until melted and creamy. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

Combine: Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce, gently tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the rich cheese sauce.

Serve: Spoon the cheesesteak tortellini onto plates and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy hot!
