Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup sour cream

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)

1 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries) for garnish (optional)

Whipped cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray.

Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it flat into the bottom of the prepared dish. Press the seams together to seal any gaps.

In a medium mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, sour cream, eggs, lemon juice, and almond extract (if using) until smooth and creamy.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll base, making sure to cover it well.

Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese filling, pinching the seams together to seal.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Allow the casserole to cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Dust the top with powdered sugar and serve warm. Garnish with fresh berries and a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
