Ingredients

1 package (10 oz) cheese tortellini, fresh or frozen

½ cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Salt and pepper to taste

Toothpicks or mini skewers for serving

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Snacks: Take a cooked tortellini, dip it lightly in olive oil, then roll it in the cheese mixture until well-coated.

Skewer and Bake: Thread the coated tortellini onto toothpicks or mini skewers. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.

Serve: Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
