Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Prepare Steak: Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels. This ensures a nice sear. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, mixing to coat evenly.

Heat Skillet: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.

Sear Steak: Add the seasoned steak pieces in a single layer. Avoid crowding the pan (you may need to do this in batches). Sear for 2-3 minutes or until a nice crust forms, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove the steak bites from the pan and set aside.

Make Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter. Allow it to melt, then stir in the minced garlic. Cook for about 1-2 minutes, just until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden.

Combine: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter for about 1 minute, ensuring they are well-coated.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle the chopped parsley on top, and serve hot. If desired, accompany with lemon wedges for a fresh zing.
