Ingredients

For the Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast

1/2 cup whole milk, warmed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Filling:

1 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen, thawed)

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Prepare the Dough: In a small bowl, combine warmed milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit for about 5–10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, and salt. Add the yeast mixture once it’s ready. Stir until combined.

Knead the Dough: Gradually incorporate the flour into the mixture until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5–7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Prepare the Filling: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together. Set aside. Prepare the blueberries if they're not fresh (thaw and drain if using frozen).

Roll out the Dough: Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle (about 16 x 24 inches).

Spread the Butter: Evenly spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top, followed by the blueberries.

Form the Rolls: Starting from one long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into 12 equal pieces.

Second Rise: Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover them, and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Bake the Rolls: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Let them cool for a few minutes before glazing.

Make the Glaze: In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

Glaze the Rolls: Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the warm rolls and serve!
