1 cup pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 large egg

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

    Make the Pumpkin Bread Batter:

      - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

        - In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.

          - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

            Prepare the Cream Cheese Swirl:

              - In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth and creamy.

                Combine the Mixtures:

                  - Pour half of the pumpkin bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread it evenly.

                    - Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the pumpkin batter. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the cream cheese into the batter.

                      - Pour the remaining pumpkin batter on top and use the knife to create a few more swirls on top without completely mixing it together.

                        Bake in the Oven:

                          - Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (a few moist crumbs are fine).

                            Cool and Serve:

                              - Once baked, allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
