Ingredients
  

4 (6 oz) salmon fillets

1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

Zest and juice of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon slices for garnish

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare Foil Sheets: Cut 4 large sheets of aluminum foil, about 12x18 inches each. Place them on a baking sheet.

      Season the Salmon: In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.

        Assemble the Foil Packs: Place each salmon fillet in the center of a foil sheet. Arrange asparagus around the salmon. Drizzle the lemon garlic butter sauce generously over salmon and asparagus.

          Seal the Foil Packs: Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon and asparagus, sealing it tightly to create a packet. Ensure there’s some space for steam to circulate inside.

            Bake in the Oven: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

              Serve: Carefully unwrap the foil packs (watch for steam). Serve salmon and asparagus warm, garnished with lemon slices and freshly chopped parsley.
