Ingredients

4 halibut fillets (6 oz each)

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Panko Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until smooth. This will be your delicious coating.

Coat the Halibut: Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Spread a generous amount of the mayo-mustard mixture over the top of each fillet.

Add the Panko Topping: Press the panko mixture onto the coated tops of the halibut fillets evenly, ensuring they are well-covered for maximum crunch.

Bake the Halibut: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the halibut is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The top should be golden brown and crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of freshness.
