Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This allows the air to circulate around the wings and helps them become crispy.

Prepare the Chicken Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated.

Arrange on Rack: Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack, ensuring they are not touching each other for the best crispiness.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Make the Sauce: While the wings are baking, prepare the honey-Sriracha sauce. In a small saucepan, combine honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil. Heat over medium-low, stirring occasionally until well combined and heated through.

Coat the Wings: Once the wings are finished baking, carefully transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the honey-Sriracha sauce over the hot wings and toss to coat evenly.

Serve: Transfer the wings to a serving platter, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Enjoy your crispy honey-Sriracha baked chicken wings!
