Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
Mash the avocado gently with a fork until creamy, but with some chunks remaining for texture.
Add lime juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and optional cayenne pepper to the mashed avocado. Mix until well combined.
Using a spatula, spread a thin layer of the avocado mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Aim for an even thickness to ensure uniform cooking—about 1/8 inch thick.
Repeat with the remaining avocado mixture, ensuring not to overcrowd the baking sheet. You may need to use two sheets if necessary.
Lightly spray the tops of the avocado layers with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil for added crispness.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the edges begin to crisp and turn golden brown.
Carefully flip the chips halfway through baking for even crisping.
Once done, remove from the oven and let the chips cool for a few minutes. They will continue to crisp up while cooling.
Serve as a healthy snack on their own or with your favorite dip!
