Ingredients
  

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions
 

In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix well until smooth.

    Add the egg and vanilla extract to the bowl, mixing until fully incorporated.

      Stir in the baking soda and salt, blending all ingredients together until the dough forms.

        If desired, fold in chocolate chips or chopped nuts for an extra crunch.

          Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).

            Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on a parchment-lined plate or tray, spacing them at least 2 inches apart.

              Using a fork, gently press down on each cookie to create a crisscross pattern on the top.

                Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper (ensure it's cut to size) and place the cookies in a single layer, leaving room for them to spread as they cook.

                  Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Check at the 6-minute mark to monitor progress.

                    Once done, remove the cookies from the air fryer and allow them to cool on a wire rack for about 5 minutes before transferring them to an airtight container. Enjoy your crunchy peanut butter cookies!
