Ingredients

1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained

1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed pineapple (with its juice) and the yellow cake mix. Stir gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix. The batter will be slightly lumpy, which is perfectly fine.

Pour Batter: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, using a spatula to spread it evenly.

Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool: Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan on a wire rack for about 10-15 minutes, then carefully lift it out (if you used parchment) and let it cool completely on the rack.

Serve: Once cooled, you can serve it as is, or top it with whipped cream, fresh slices of pineapple, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
